Tuition

 

I offer individual piano, flute, theory and aural lessons to pupils of all ages. My rate for private tuition is £40/hour. As a rule of thumb, beginner lessons last 30 minutes, intermediate lessons (grades 4 and 5) last 45 minutes, and advanced lessons (grades 6+) last an hour. Lessons take place at my house in Beverley, ideally located for pupils travelling from Walkington, Cherry Burton, Cottingham, Tickton, Leven and other surrounding villages.

 

I am a friendly, enthusiastic teacher, encouraging pupils to develop both their musicianship and their practical skills.

Pupils may decide to play for pleasure or work towards exams, and whilst I challenge them to reach their full potential, pupils are never put under any pressure. Music should be enjoyable and accessible to everyone.

I am fully insured and DBS checked.
